Email Sending Checklist

One of the biggest "mistakes" you can make sending out personal emails through an automated system is to send emails with errors. These errors can make it obvious that the email you are sending is NOT personalized.

Here are a few items to check before pressing send:

* Is the from name correct?  You want the messages to come from you personally.

* Is the subject line correct? Make sure your message has a subject line and that the subject line is what you wanted ot use?

* When you send a test, make sure the merge fields are filled in. (Note - that the "First Name" field will always be 'John' when you send a test message. i.e. Dear John.  

* Do a quick spell check

* Last but not least, make sure that all of your links are working
